Barry was born and raised in southwest Missouri, where he developed at a young age a passion for the outdoors through his adventures of exploring the great Ozark Mountains. From fishing the crystal-clear spring fed rivers, hiking through the beautiful backwoods, or discovering the elusive cave systems in the area, his quest for adventure was strengthened. Barry was inspired to join the Air Force and served his country for 20 years, eventually settling down in southern Illinois with his beautiful wife and four children.
